The Governing Body of the self-governing institution “Kolding Realskole” and thereby also “The Cosmo - The International School of Southern Denmark” is chosen by parents of currently enrolled students at the Annual General Assembly, which is held at the end of April.

Members of the Governing Body are chosen to serve a term of four years. One member of the Governing Body is up for election each year.
Annual General Assembly
According to current rules:
“The General Assembly is the highest authority of the school."
"The General Assembly is held once a year before the end of April in Kolding."
"The General Assembly is summoned with a notice of at least 14 days and no more than 28 days by announcement in local newspapers. In addition to the publication in the local newspapers, students will receive a written message, to provide to their parents, concerning the Annual General Assembly, including a meeting agenda.”
