The Cosmo offers

three educational programmes:

Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) for students from 5 to 12 years of age; Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme (CLSP) for students from 12 to 14 years of age; and

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for students from 14 to 16 years of age.

CIPP - Cambridge International Primary Programme

The Cambridge International Primary Programme is for students in Year 1 through 6.

CIPP is comprised of several elements, the core of which is the Cambridge Primary Curriculum Framework. This framework provides the learning goals for each stage.

The Primary Programme aids identification of students' strengths and weaknesses and can be used to support learning and development. The Primary Programme progresses students seamlessly into Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme.

As an international programme, the Primary Programme provides teachers with an external benchmark to inform their teaching and easily measure students’ progress over time. It also allows detailed, structured reporting to parents.

The End of Primary Achievement Tests at the end of stage 6 are included in the Tuition Fees.

CLSP - Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme

The Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme is for students in Year 7, 8 and 9.

The framework builds on the primary stages, and develops children’s knowledge and skills in Mathematics, English and Science.

At the end of Lower Secondary, students sit Cambridge Checkpoint tests which provide detailed feedback on students’ strengths and weaknesses before they move into the IGCSE.

Cambridge Checkpoint tests are standardised, set and marked by CIE, so provide an international benchmark of student achievement enabling teachers to advise students and parents of the suitability of different progression routes.

The Checkpoint Tests at the end of stage 9 are included in the Tuition Fees.

IGCSE - International General Certificate of Secondary Education

The Cambridge IGCSE is for students in Year 10 and 11.

Based on a curriculum, which is international in its insight and outlook, the IGCSE is suitable for students with different levels of ability, as the students have a choice of Core and Extended exam papers in most subjects.

The IGCSE-exams in the core subjects - English, Science and Maths - are included in the Tuition Fees. Additional IGCSE-exams are paid for by the parents. The payments are due, before the students sit the exams.
