The municipality

welcomes everybody

In Kolding and its vicinity you will find multifarious opportunities, because Kolding is situated in the centre of growth. The city connects Scandinavia and the rest of Europe and it is also the centre of the rich cultural life in the region.

You will find forests, where you can disappear under the dense foliage and an inlet that invites to a beautiful navigation along the coast of Jutland. You will find delicious food in the impressive cafés and go shopping until your feet ache. There are museums of international standard with exquisite works of art. You can bring the children on a breathless treasure hunt or experience concerts that will thrill you all. As a reflection of the country,

Kolding contains the best of Denmark: the history, the arts, forest and seashores, hills and valleys. It is a relaxing and accommodating city that welcomes everybody.

The 1st of January 2007 the municipality of Kolding was united with the municipalities of Christianfeld, Lunderskov and Vamdrup, and with that the number of inhabitants rose to 87,183 persons.
