Firstly, The Cosmo – International School of Southern Denmark is a certified Cambridge International Examination Centre which means that the University of Cambridge has set out stringent standards that our school has met for educating children from the ages of 5-16.
A huge benefit afforded by our Cambridge status is that transfers are seamless to other Cambridge institutions, other international programmes and most North American curricula.
Students study Math, English, Science, Humanities (a combination of history and geography), Physical Education, Art & Design and Music. School hours range daily but are typically from 08.05 and 15.15.
After school care is offered at an additional cost until 17.00 should it be required.
Secondly, at The Cosmo we celebrate a diverse range of cultures. This year we celebrate both Danish special days and holidays of other countries such as Halloween, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and the 4th of July.
Thirdly, The Cosmo – The International School of Southern Denmark is situated in Kolding in the Triangle Region in Southern Denmark. It is located on the main 4 lane highway (Interstate type) travelling in both North/South as well as East/West directions.
The students come from most of Southern Denmark, i.e. Kolding, Frederica, Middelfart, Vejle, Billund, Horsens, Esbjerg and Odense, and transportation subsidies for the children are also available from the school should you be living in a location other than Kolding.
