The Cosmo - International School of Southern Denmark opened its doors on September 1, 2008. The Cosmo welcomes students from the growing international community in Southern Denmark as well as Danish students who seek an international education.
The Cosmo is a recognized Cambridge International Centre.
In the 2011-2012 academic year, The Cosmo has a student body comprised of student from 23 nations around the world.
The language of instruction is English except, naturally, for foreign language classes. All students have two Danish lessons per week. Students in the Lower Secondary and IGCSE programmes also choose between French, German or Spanish as a second language.
The Mission Statement of The Cosmo sets out the school's aims and philosophy, all of which are academic in tone and international in spirit.
The Cosmo is a private non-profit organization recognized by the Danish Ministry of Education.
